About Us
Welcome! We're Ani Levy and Janel Whitehead, Maplewood moms and
co-founders of A+J Designs.
Maplewood is a small town where eventually you cross paths with everyone, or your friend has a friend who knows this person etc. etc. and voila - you’re connected, too. On one such encounter meeting through friends on a local home store sponsored antiquing trip, we found we were eyeing the same pieces and chatted nonstop about our finds. When a mutual realtor friend suggested we collaborate to help her stage a home, we jumped into action and haven’t stopped since. In the past few years we have evolved from home staging to mainly working with clients on interior design work.
Together, we bring a wide range of talent to the table. By hiring us, you get: a graphic designer, an elementary school teacher, a branding and advertising executive, an entrepreneur, a jewelry designer, a baker and two mothers. We have personally renovated more than 6 homes combined and endless clients have trusted us to do the same, so we know the process inside and out. We would love to use our breadth of experience and passion for design to help you style for your best dressed home!
