Welcome! We're Ani Levy and Janel Whitehead, Maplewood moms and
co-founders of A+J Designs.
Maplewood is a small town where eventually you cross paths with everyone, or your friend has a friend who knows this person etc. etc. and voila - you’re connected, too. On one such encounter meeting through friends on a local home store sponsored antiquing trip, we found we were eyeing the same pieces and chatted nonstop about our finds. When a mutual realtor friend suggested we collaborate to help her stage a home, we jumped into action and haven’t stopped since.
Together, we bring a wide range of talent to the table. By hiring our team, you get: a graphic designer, an elementary school teacher, a branding and advertising executive, an entrepreneur, a jewelry designer, a baker and two mothers. We have personally purchased and sold more than 6 homes combined, so we know the home selling process inside and out, and how to get the most money out of your home. We would love to use our breadth of experience and passion for design to help you style and stage for your best dressed home!
